Heavy-Duty Vinyl Tarp Repair Kit
Extend the life of your tarps and save money with the CanvasMart professional repair solution.
Don’t replace your entire tarp because of a small tear or hole. Our Heavy-Duty Vinyl Tarp Repair Kit contains everything you need to perform professional-grade repairs right on-site. Whether you are patching a truck tarp, a gym floor cover, or an industrial curtain, this kit provides a waterproof, flexible, and permanent bond.
Featuring industry-standard HH66 Vinyl Cement and premium 18oz vinyl, this kit is designed to withstand the elements and keep your gear in service longer.
What’s Included in the Kit:
- High-Strength Adhesive: (2) 237 mL containers of HH66 Vinyl Cement—the leading adhesive for bonding vinyl fabrics. Dries quickly and stays flexible.
- Premium Patch Material: 10 square feet of durable 18oz vinyl (heavy-duty and tear-resistant).
- Cleaning Supplies: (1) Shop Rag for surface preparation.
How to Use:
We recommend the following steps to ensure a permanent, watertight seal:
-
Clean: Thoroughly clean the surface of the tarp around the damage using alcohol, brake cleaner, or any other industrial cleaner to remove grease or dirt.
-
Measure & Cut: Cut your 18oz vinyl patches large enough to exceed the size of the hole or tear by at least 1 inch on all sides.
-
Trim: Round the corners of all your patches (this prevents the corners from peeling up later).
-
Apply Adhesive: Apply an even coat of HH66 Vinyl Cement to both the old tarp surface and the new patch. Allow it to set until it becomes slightly tacky.
-
Bond: Apply the patch to the old material and press firmly to ensure a strong bond.
-
Dry: Let the repair dry for at least 30 minutes before using the tarp.
Why Choose the CanvasMart Repair Kit?
- Cost-Effective: A fraction of the price of buying a new custom tarp.
- Industrial Strength: Uses the same materials we use in our manufacturing.
- Fast Acting: Repairs are set and ready to handle in roughly 30 minutes.
